The Good Roll

| Rebranding project 2024

When I started as the lead graphic designer at The Good Roll it was in dire need of a good rebrand. The website was outdated and the branding didn’t reflect the growth the company had gone through. Take a little peek back in time!

Before and After

When I joined The Good Roll, I stepped into a brand with plenty of heart but little structure. With no graphic designer before me, the visual identity was inconsistent, files were missing, and the brand message lacked clarity.
I led a complete rebranding, creating a cohesive visual system supported by clear templates, processes, and easy-to-follow guidelines for both internal and external use. This ensured consistency across everything from advertising materials to day-to-day communications.

The challenge with the rebrand was that the brand still had to stay recognisable to their customers while also being able to attract new ones. This balance was a tight line to walk but with a little trial and error the new branding came together. Everything had to be either remade or for example; created. There were no external or advertising guidelines and the old brandbook was overstuffed with fonts and colours with no clear use for any of them.

Take a little peek in how the brand guidelines used to look and how they look now!

While working @ The Good Roll I took on full responsibility for all printed materials: wrappers, labels, boxes, flyers, product and lifestyle photography and everything in between.
This end-to-end ownership allowed me to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment while also having fun with the brand’s playful identity!
